Lloyd Lee Hewett

Lloyd Lee Hewett, 66, of Cleveland, born January 30, 1944, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was captain of the 1962 Bradley High School State Championship basketball team and was inducted into the Old Timer’s Hall of Fame. He had a ministry as a typesetter at the Church of God Publishing House. He will be remembered for his athletic abilities and as a quiet, kind, patient and loving family member and friend. He was loved very much by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Ottis Hewett. He is survived by his mother, Elva Hewett Peeler; sister, Brenda Jordan; cousin and honorary brother, Otis Miller; step-sister, Debbie Price; and numerous and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at New Friendship Cemetery with Pat Wallace officiating.
