Betty Jo Strickland

Betty Jo Strickland, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at her home. She was a member of Cleveland Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie M. Strickland as well as her parents, Alvin and Irene Mims Lemacks. She is survived by four children: Marvin Green and wife, Angela of Chatsworth, GA, Bobby Joe Green and wife, Pamela of Sebring, FL, Lesley Gatlin of Okeechobee, FL, and Teresa Tackett of Jacksonville, FL; seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three brothers: David Gartelle Lemacks and Larry Donald Lemacks, both of Atlanta, GA, and Stanley Robert Lemacks of Fernandina Beach, FL. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral with Pastor Taz Reid officiating. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 6 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
