Leona Hamilton

Leona “Mutt” Hamilton, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away May 22, 2010 at the family residence. She was a member of Zion Hill Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bascom B. Calfee and Cora Price Calfee; brothers, George Calfee and Willard Calfee; and sister, Maxie Kincaid. Survivors include her husband, of 63 years, Adrian Hamilton of Cleveland; children: Wayne and Pat Hamilton of Cookeville, Randall Hamilton and Robert and Cindy Hamilton all of Cleveland; six grandchildren: Heather Jones, Heath Hamilton, Shawn Hamilton, Adrian Hamilton, Kelly Cornelius and Jamie Hamilton; four great grandchildren: Cooper Hamilton, Allison Bain, Adrian Hailee Hamilton and Katlyn Hamilton; brother, Pete Calfee of Hemphill; sisters: Thelma Holt of Cleveland, Patsy Lee of Apopka, FL, Dorothy “Coo” Charles of Calhoun, GA and Della “Hammer” Wilson of Chatsworth, GA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, May 24, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Brother William Coile and Brother Harvey Anders officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
