Frances “Fran” Louise Kelley, 57, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was employed with Cleveland City Schools where she was a teacher assistant at Yates Primary. She was an active member of First Baptist Church and was always ready to share her faith in Christ. She was an accomplished artist, loved her flower garden and enjoyed motorcycle trips with David and Katie, her sheltie. She enjoyed reading and studying her genealogy, which included her great great grandfather, Doc Holliday. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Gossett Holliday. She is survived by her husband, David Kelley of Cleveland; daughter, Jennifer Leonard and husband, Ryan of Cleveland; sisters, Linda Hoffman, Cathy Johnson, Gloria Biddy and Vickie Warren; brothers, Steve Peters, Johnny Holliday, Jimmy Holliday, Danny Peters, John Holliday, George Holliday, Mike Holliday and Joe Holliday; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Allan Lockerman and Dr. Bill Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in New Friendship Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
