Teresa Renee Gates Yarberry

Teresa Renee Gates Yarberry, 42, a resident of Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord and her family on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at her home. She was a native of Cleveland and had been a resident of Jonesborough for the past 10 years. She was a member of Piney Flats Baptist Church in Sullivan County. Her father, Vernon Gates, preceded her in death as well as her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, David Yarberry of Jonesborough; mother, Wanda Gates of Cleveland; three daughters: Amber Gates, April Yarberry and Chelsey Dunbar, one son, Robert Yarberry, and one granddaughter, Jazalynn Gates, all of Jonesborough; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael and Sharon Gates of Cleveland, and Rick and Michelle Gates of Alvarado, TX; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Mary Yarberry of Union County, TN; brother-in-law, Mark Yarberry of Alvarado, TX; one nephew, Jay Gates of Alvarado, TX; three nieces: Rachael Gates of Cleveland, Tia and Megan Gates of Alvarado, TX; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Gates officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Doug Parris, Jackie Parris, Justin Parris, Larry Visage, Sammy Parris and Richie Burns will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
