Ruby L Mealer

Ruby L. Mealer, 78, a resident of Chatsworth, GA, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 in a Murray County hospital. She was formerly a seamstress with Hardwick Clothes. She was a member of Hitchin Post For Christ Cowboy Church in Ringgold, GA. She enjoyed horses, cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Henderson and Leta Walker, her son, Ernest Allen Dale and husband, Roy Mealer. She is survived by sons, Tony M. Dale, Sr. of Chatsworth, GA, and Lamar Dale; two brothers: Rev. Charles Edward Henderson and Elmer Henderson, both of Cleveland; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Gene Sowlkes officiating. Interment will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
