Leona Gray

Leona Gray, 77, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in a local hospital. She retired from Sanda Hosiery Mills after 30 years of service. She enjoyed camping and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Hattie McAlister Burris; brothers, Jack Burris and George Burris; and sisters, Dorothy Burris and Louise Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Gray of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Barbara Burris of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
