Vickie Aileen Smith

Vickie Aileen Wood Smith, 51, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in a local hospital. She was formerly a social worker with Bradley County Health Department, Bradley Memorial Hospital, Polk County Department of Human Services and the Tennessee Department of Corrections. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael David Wood. She is survived by her loving husband, Lebron Smith of Cleveland; son, Ben Smith of Cleveland; parents, Albert “Woody” and Pat Wood of Johnson City; and niece, Stephanie Wood of Johnson City. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Dunn officiating. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Cemetery in Johnson City with Pastor Todd Wolfe officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Monte Vista Mausoleum prior to the graveside service. Adam Rains, Charles Matthews, Daniel Montgomery, Aaron Bird, Brian Wooten, Jeremy Goins, Justin Dunn and Steve Logsdon will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Bradley Wrestling Club, 1000 S.
