Ruby Finnell Stepp

Ruby Finnell Stepp, 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a member of Kinser Church of God and a former member of the Taylor’s Home Demonstration Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Gladys “Kitty” Finnell, two brothers: Rufus Finnell and Joe Finnell, and two sisters: Kathleen Elder and Melba Massengil. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Leslie Stepp of Cleveland; one son, Joe Stepp and wife Phoebe of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Brandon Stepp and wife Valerie, and Theba Hamilton and husband David, all of Cleveland; four great-grandchildren: Cheyenne Hamilton, Bryer Hamilton, Anna Jean Stepp and Emma Jo Stepp; one brother, Bob Finnell and wife Rosetta of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Steve Finnell, Eddie Finnell, Jerry Finnell, Jeff Finnell, Mike Finnell and Robby Stepp serving as pallbearers.
