Betty J Lewis

Betty J. Lewis, 47, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 in a Cleveland hospital. She was a very special person and was loved by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by parents, John Jim Lewis, Sr. and Myrtle Edna McCurry Lewis and brother, John Jim Lewis, Jr. Survivors include her aunt, Lou Lewis of Chattanooga; uncles, Harold McCurry of Old Fort and Ralph Works of Cleveland. She is also survived by a special friend and caregiver, Harlan L. Frye of Cleveland and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Poe Cemetery in Daisy. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
