Jean Suits Lawson, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She was a member of Victory Prayer House and attended Tasso Baptist Church. She retired after 40 years with Lawson Grocery on Benton Pike. She was preceded in death by her parents, B.H. and Ethel Riddle Suits; husband, C.B. “Penny” Lawson; son-in-law, Greg Bramlett; step son, Dean Lawson; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include her daughters: Theresa Orders and husband, Steven Orders and Pamela Lawson Bramlett all of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren: Bart Chase, Whitney Cannon, Tyler Bramlett, Peyton Orders and Bart Lawson; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 24, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Cawood officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Bart Chase, Tyler Bramlett, Ken Suits, Johnny Lawson, James Carter, Thaddeus Cannon, Arrie Bramlett and Grey Carter serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
