Iona C Cain

Iona C. Cain, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Russel Cain; parents, William and Sarah Orton Roderick; son, Gary Franklin Cain; daughter, Carolyn Thompson; infant daughter, Joyce Virginia Cain; daughter-in-law, Vickie Cain; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Russel Cain and wife, Jean, and Steve Cain, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Brenda Colbaugh and Tony Colbaugh, both of Decatur, Annette Curtis of Murphy, NC, Venus Wofford and Heather Womac of Cleveland and Allen Cain of Knoxville; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Kern Eschette and Jereme Womac officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Allen Cain, Richard Wofford, Jereme Womac, Tony Colbaugh, Cale Curtis and James Wofford serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
