Wilma Reynolds, 66, of Ocoee, went to meet Jesus in her Heavenly home on Monday, January 25, 2010. She passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side. She had fought a long and courageous battle with diabetes and other related health issues. She was a member of Boanerges Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as sitting on her porch listening to the birds and enjoying the shade of the large oak tree in her front yard. She treasured spending time with family and friends. She retired from Duracell after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Woody and mother, Ina Helton Woody Frazier; brother, Robert Woody; sister, Sue Woody; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Virginia Reynolds; brothers-in-law, Ed Anderson and Charles G. Reynolds; and sister-in-law, Alene Woody. She is survived by her husband, Paul “Bunk” Reynolds with whom she would have celebrated her 51st wedding anniversary on February 14th; daughters, Debbie Reynolds Earls and husband, Charlie of Ocoee and Rhonda Reynolds of Benton; sons, David Reynolds and wife, Kim of Old Fort and Tony Reynolds of Ocoee; five grandchildren, Mandy, Amy and Adam Reynolds, all of Old Fort and Katie and Kelsey Isbill of Benton; brothers, Herbert Woody of Cleveland and Charles Woody and wife, Jean of Benton; several special brother and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Brenda Reynolds of Ooltewah, Bobby Reynolds of Benton, Ruth Anderson of Cleveland, Barbara and Jimmy Burger of Cleveland, Brenda Blount and Jerry Pritchitt of Riceville and Brenda Reynolds of Benton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Ross, Pastor Ricky Vaughn and Pastor Randall Headrick officiating. Internment will follow in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with Jason Reynolds, Wayne Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Timmy Anderson and Roy Reynolds serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
