Garna Grady McMahan

Garna “Grady” McMahan, 50, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was born July 30, 1959 in Maui, Hawaii. He served the Lord and faithfully attended Mt. Olive East Church of God. He was much loved by family and friends. He was a kind and loveable person and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Richard McMahan; niece, Sarah Elizabeth McMahan; and cousin, Sherry McMahan. He is survived by his mother, Fiavaai McMahan of Cleveland; brother, Oliver McMahan and wife, Martha of Cleveland; nephew, Jonathan McMahan and wife, Heather; niece, Holly Salicco and husband, Ben, all of Cleveland; six great nieces and nephews, Haley, Sarah, Olivia, Sophia, Josiah and Emma, all of Cleveland; uncles, Grady McMahan and wife, Judy and Jerry McMahan and wife, Fran, all of Asheville, NC; cousins, Cindy Tomblin and husband, Rogers of Asheville, NC, Pam Harris and husband, Gregg of Ringgold, GA, Larry Hollifield and wife, Brenda of Mocksville, NC and Angela Rhew and husband, Dale of Asheville, NC. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, The service will be officiated by his cousin, the Reverend Larry Hollifield, pastor of the Church of God in Mocksville, NC. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Church of God Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
