Alice Crackel

Alice Crackel, 100, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. She was born Alice Lillie Pendlebury on August 27, 1909 in Horton., Kansas. She saw America go from horse and wagon to the modern automobile. She married Earl E. Crackel in 1931. She received Christ as her Savior in 1973 at Bible Baptist Church in Vallejo, CA. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Crackel; daughter, Sylvia Neece Crackel; and parents, Clarence and Ida Mae Miller Pendlebury. She is survived by her son, James E. Crackel and wife, Synthia of Cleveland; numerous grandchildren; more great grandchildren; and even more great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating.
