Terry Carolyn Sorrells Majors, 63, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a retired beautician. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Oliver and Louise MacKenzie Sorrells; brother, John MacKenzie Sorrells; and sister, Judith Ann Sorrells Oliver. She is survived by her children, Mollie Alaine Majors and husband, Brian Watson of Chattanooga and Matt Majors and wife, Miranda of Sale Creek; grandchildren, Morgan Majors, Reagan Majors and Addison Majors, all of Sale Creek; brother, Thomas Oliver Sorrells, Jr. and wife, June off Charleston; brother-in-law, Bill Oliver of Charleston; sister-in-law, Janey Sorrells of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Michigan Avenue Cemetery with Pastor Alan Stewart officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
