Anna Cleo Linville of Cleveland, TN, age 89, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the home of friend and special caregiver Bonnie Morgan. She was a licensed minister in the Church of God of Prophecy since 1957 and was retired from Tomlinson College Library. She was a member of Spring Place Road Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by husband, Kendrick Linville, parents B.B. and Josie Burdine, daughter, Shirley Mitchell, one infant son and two granddaughters, Lisa Ledford and Charlotte Mitchell, as well as several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, James “Buddy” (Marie) Linville of Cleveland, TN; daughter Cosetta (Creed) Stephens of Georgetown, TN, son-in-law, Robert Mitchell of Cleveland; as well as seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Also brother, Archie Burdine of Ogden UT, many nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend William Coile officiating. Entombment will be held on Friday in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the funeral home prior to the service.
