Joyce Ann Stinnett

Joyce Ann “Joy” McClure Stinnett, 68, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 in a local hospital. She retired from the Veterans Administration in Atlanta, GA as a registered nurse. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by parents, Luther and Naomi McClure; son, Mike Stinnett; brothers, Austin, Ollie, Lloyd, Marvin and Leon McClure; and sisters, Minnie Hicks, Anna Mae Ogle, Rosel Bowerman, Bessie Stewart, Opal Grisam and Lucille Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lones of Cleveland; son, Mitchell Stinnett and April Freeman of Cleveland; grandsons, Daniel Stinnett of Cleveland and Zachary Stinnett of Chatsworth; step-daughters, Tammy Clark and Sherry Hinkle, both of Johnson City; brother, Jack McClure of Cleveland; sister, Elizabeth Nipper of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Wayne Cooper officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Cedar Springs Cemetery. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
