Valeria Revenig

Valerie V. (Larie) Revenig, 88, died on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at St. Barnabas Senior Living in Chattanooga. Valerie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was employed by Honeywell Corporation. In 1950 she moved to Cleveland with her husband and children. During sixty years in the same home she raised four children and remained an active member and contributor at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family and her faith. Larie took great pleasure in gardening, cooking, and in spending time with family and friends. Larie was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, and son, Lee, Jr. Survivors include her children, Michael Revenig of Chattanooga; Barbara Revenig of Spokane, Washington; Mary Revenig of Knoxville; and six grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Iorio presiding. The service will be followed by a private interment. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the Trinity Room at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church Building Fund, 900 Clingan Ridge Drive NW, Cleveland, TN 373712 Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
