Benny Ray Lawson

Benny Ray Lawson, 36, of Goodlettsville, TN passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lawson, mother, Denise Lawson Craig, brother, John Craig, stepfather, David Craig and grandfather, J.E. Craig. Survivors include his daughter, Destany Lawson of Cleveland, TN; fiancée’ Hope Clegg of Goodlettsville, TN; grandparents, Betty and Harold Moses of Cleveland, TN; aunts and uncles: Debra Howard of Goodlettsville, TN, Lisa Rutherford of Maynardville, TN, Lori and Randy Foust of Maynardville, TN, Melanie and Rick Stanfield of Allensville, KY, Brenda and Chester Moore of Cleveland, TN; cousins: Kelly and Daniel Harrod of Cleveland, TN, Matt Moore, Brandy Moore, Wes and Kim Moore all of Cleveland, TN; several other cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Darin Miller officiating. His family will receive friends from 1-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
