James R Elrod

James R. Elrod, 46, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a member of Trinity Chapel and was also a member of the Oak Grove Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife, Alesia Marie Elrod of Cleveland; parents, James Arthur and Lena Elrod of Turtletown, TN; three sisters, Linda Jones of Cleveland, Normalee Walker and Marie Gober both of Turtletown, TN; one brother, Tommy Elrod of Dalton; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral with Pastor Charles Elrod and Pastor Ronnie Pearson officiating. His family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Turtletown, TN with a graveside service following in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
