Roger D Hawkins

Roger D. Hawkins, 58, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 in a Knoxville hospital. He was a member of Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church and was deeply committed to his family and church. He was formerly a supervisor at Rubbermaid Corporation. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Navy. Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Hawkins. He is survived by his wife, Angela Hawkins of Cleveland; mother, Sevilla Hawkins of Benton; daughter, Gina Fain of Cleveland; two sisters, Judy McNabb of Cleveland and Beverly Hawkins of Benton; one brother, Steve Hawkins of Etowah; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Echoes of Mercy Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel White and Brother Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Druid Hill Cemetery in Monroe County with military honors. His family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
