Charles Frazier

April 21, 1928 — August 28, 2010

Charles Weldon Frazier, born on April 21, 1928, passed into glory August 28, 2010, at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a member of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. He was an avid farmer for many years. He was big animal lover and Tennessee football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents Lowery and Lennie Mae Dixon Frazier; sisters-Ilene Frazier Davis and Wilma Frazier Crouse; and brothers-Hobert, Lunsford, Vernon, Glen, and Roy Lee Frazier. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Whittle Frazier; daughters-Judy Frazier Prince and husband Dennis, Norma Frazier Angelone and husband Joey, Lynn Frazier Parker and husband Charlie, and Paula Roach; son-Charles W. Frazier Jr., and wife Judy: grandchildren-Rhonda Frazier Campbell and husband Jason, Stacy Frazier and wife Leigh, Jenny Myers, Jessica Frazier Waldrop and husband Marty, Ashley Frazier Belcher, Miranda Glover, and Drew Longmire; several great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren; and sisters-Margaret Frazier Rogers and husband Charles, Edna Frazier Officer, and Joyce Frazier Tilson and husband Rabin, all of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastors Jim Parm, Leroy Elliott, and Steve Beavers officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland Shed Cemetery located in Old Fort, TN, concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Pallbearers will be Tommy Frazier, Danny Frazier, Jason Campbell, Charles Rogers, Joey Angelone, Shane Mull, and Dennis Prince. His family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010, at the funeral home.
