Rosetta Parker Finnell, 79, of Cleveland, TN passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of the Thompson Springs Baptist Church for 45 years where she was also the treasurer for forty years. She was retired from Bell South and was a volunteer for Hospice of Bradley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Finnell was the daughter of the late Will Parker and Maggie Parker Williams and was also preceded in death by her sister, Edna Logan; brothers, Ezell Parker, H. Parker, Wesley Parker and D.C. Parker. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert (Bob) Finnell; son, Mike (Bonnie) Finnell; sisters, Vina (Bill) Herron, Ann Parker Holder, Shirley(Jack) Hollifield; brothers, Ed Parker and Jim (Diane) Williams; grandchildren, Michael (Jenni) Finnell, Aaron (Vicki) Finnell, Brittany (Tyrone) Tilley all of Cleveland, TN, Allen (Michelle) Stephens of Lewisville, TX; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Joe White officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release concluding the service. Michael Finnell, Aaron Finnell, Tyrone Tilley, Allen Stephens, Eddie Parker and Chris Herron will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the funeral home.
