SAMUEL EDWARD DAVIS Samuel Edward Davis, 54, a resident of Decatur, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Athens Regional Hospital. He was of the Church of God faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents – Samuel and Clecie Davis, and one sister, Judy Davis. He is survived by two children – son, Samuel Kile Davis and wife Angela of Ft. Hood, TX, and daughter Kristy Lynn Cole and husband Levi of Cullman, AL; two sisters – Sally Davis and Carolyn Davis; five brothers – Sonny Davis of Georgetown, TN and Ronnie, Carl, Thomas, and Ernie Davis, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Max Morris officiating. Internment will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Georgetown, TN. His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2010, at the funeral home.
