Frances Corn Nankivell died September 15, 2010. Taddy was a life long resident of Cleveland and Athens. She attended Bradley High School, Guflport College and also the University of Chattanooga where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Taddy loved history and reading, picnics and anything tomato, but most of all her family and friends. She was born in Cleveland on July 21, 1927 to the late Frances and Terrel Corn. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. James Nankivell and also her brothers, William and George Corn. Taddy is survived by her son, Will McGhee and his wife, Cindy of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Anne McGhee and husband, Mitchell Quinn of Cleveland; and step daughter, Missy Benear and husband, Tony of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Emily Baker of Cleveland, Anne Bledsoe and her husband, Gene of Memphis, Trewhitt McGhee of Charlotte, NC, Derek and Grant Benear of Edmond, OK and great grandson, Baker Deaton; her brother, Charles Corn and his wife, Susan and sisters in law, Milly Corn and Nina Jensen of Cleveland. The family would like to thank Tammy Bennett for her care. A Celebration of the life of Frances Nankivell will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and the family will receive friends afterwards in the Parish Hall.
