Randall H Fisher

December 23, 1937 — July 10, 2010

Randall H. Fisher, 72, of Cleveland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church where he was an active deacon, music director, member of the adult choir and a member of the adult Sunday school class. He was an instrumental part of the beginning and continue of Camp Cherokee at First Baptist Church. He was owner of Randall Fisher Construction Company for over 50 years where he helped found the Cleveland Home Builders Association, now known at ORBA. He also enjoyed serving his community for 18 years as a Bradley County Commissioner. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather where he was affectionately known as “Poppy.” His family was the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Burton Fisher and Arda McClure Fisher; and sister, Willadean Fisher. He is survived by his “Sweetheart” and loving wife of 50 years, Judith Lee Fisher of Cleveland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melodie Moses and husband, Johnny and Melissa Jordan and husband, Michael, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Racheal Swigert and husband, Bobby, Tiffiany Walker and husband, Travis and Brad Jordan and wife, Marla, all of Cleveland, and Joel Moses and wife, Ronalee of Colorado Springs, CO; great grandchildren, Zach, Isaiah, Trevor and Noah Walker, Kaylee Jordan, Layla and Landon Swigert and Elijah Moses. A Remembrance of Life service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Alan Lockerman officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tim Mabe, Johnny Vincent, Steve Houser, Terry Wilt, Randy McCoy and Tim DeRoos serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers are the members of T. Roy Jones’ Sunday school class. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Camp Fund, 99 Central Avenue NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
