Freddy Troy Robbins

April 1, 1949 — January 5, 2015

Reverend Freddy Troy “T” Robbins, 65, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 in a local hospital.  He was a member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy.  He was a bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy and had pastored seven different in five different states churches in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alaska, North Dakota, and North Carolina.

 Reverend Robbins was the son of the late Herbert Victor Robbins and Alma Imogene Johnson Robbins and was also preceded in death by his two children, Eddy and Teddy Robbins; and sister, Darlene Merritt.

 He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Robbins of Cleveland; two children:  Paul and Matthew Robbins both of Cleveland; one grandchild, Alaina Robbins of Cleveland; three sisters:  Jeanette Reagan, Anette Smith and Sandra Kinser all of Crossville, TN; three brothers:  Bobby Robbins and wife, Ruth of Crossville, TN, David Robbins and wife, Barbara of Nashville, TN and Teddy Robbins and wife, Connie of Crossville, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January8, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ronald Wright,  Reverend Eric Washburn and Reverend Samuel Clements officiating.  Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

 The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
