Miriam Ruth Parker Foran, 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the family residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a graduated from Tennessee Temple in 1972 with a degree in Christian Ministries. She loved to crochet blankets for infants and smaller children and was an avid fan of Southern Gospel music of The Gaither Family. She loved her Chihuahuas and all other animals.
Mrs. Foran was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Allison Foran and her parents, Harold and Dorothy Parker; sister, Deborah Parker.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Edward Lee Foran, Jr. of Cleveland; two children: Allen Foran and wife, Amy of Chattanooga and Erin Cole and husband, SSgt. Anthony W. Cole stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC; two grandchildren: Allysin Cole and Abigail Cole of Camp Lejeune, NC; one sister, Mary Jane Peffer and husband, Don of Canton, Ohio; two brothers: Tom Parker and wife, Marilyn of Akron, Ohio and Tim Parker of Canton, Ohio; special friend, Wendy Burgireno; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Tony Cole, Allen Foran, Jared Friedrichsen, Walter Harrison, Don Peffer and Jeff Srewart serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
