Eloise C. Thomas, 92, a resident of Allentown, PA, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at her residence. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Thomas; son, David D. Thomas, Jr.; parents, Samuel C. Collins and Frances Huston Collins; one brother, John Collins and two sisters, Mary Collins and Roselyn Collins.
She is survived by her two children, Stephen Thomas and wife, Cindy of Zionsville, PA and Robert Thomas and wife, Bonnie of Whitebluff, TN; eight grandchildren, Clayton Thomas, Elizabeth Hawley, Philip Thomas, Kristina Yeouze, John Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Mary Hamm and William Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Monday, April 6, 2015 at the East Side Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Bill Maynard officiating. Interment will be held following the service at 2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and also Monday, April 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
