Harry C. O'Rear, Jr., 72, a resident of Birchwood and formerly of Chattanooga, passed away at his home on April 3, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the Mueller Corporation after 27 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. O'Rear, Sr. and Hazel May Underwood O'Rear; his son; Wesley Lloyd O'Rear; a sister, Shirley Breedlove; and one brother, James Clayton O'Rear.
Surviving are his wife, Opal O'Rear of Birchwood; one daughter, Krista O'Rear of Birchwood; two grandchildren, Vincent Barker of Birchwood and Sasha Barker of Meigs County; one sister, Debbie Holder of Chattanooga; and two brothers, Michael O'Rear of Jasper, GA and Dennis O'Rear of Chattanooga; and also several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Carnes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, prior to the service.
