Glenda Sue Lawson

Glenda Sue Kincaid Lawson of Cleveland passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at a Chattanooga hospital.

 She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Church of Christ.  She loved to travel with her family and write poems and music.

 She was born April 1, 1945 in Knoxville, TN, but had lived most of her life in Cleveland. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Kincaid and Edith Inez Dean Kincaid; brothers, Jerry, Johnny, and C.L. Kincaid; and sisters, Doris Robinson and Naomi Flowers.

 She is survived by her husband, Robert Lawson of Cleveland; one daughter, Patty Lawson of Smithville, TN; one son, Robert Anthony “Tony” Lawson of Chattanooga, TN; one special granddaughter, Haley Lawson of Smithville, TN; granddaughter, Heather Chattin and husband Josh, of Soddy Daisy, TN; one grandson, Robert A. “Bobby” Lawson, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Ronnie Kincaid of Atlanta, GA, and David Kincaid of Fresno, CA; two special nieces, Kathy Fuller and Robin Goforth; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Eastside Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

 The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
