He was born in Dalton, GA, but had lived most of his life in Cleveland. He was an employee of Mohawk Industries in Dalton, GA. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his family and UT football.

He is survived by his parents, Arnold Edward Davis and Dorothy Ruth Coker Davis of Cleveland; two sisters, Cathy Stone and husband Jeff of Cleveland, Tina Keith and husband Nick of Nashville, TN; one brother, John Davis and wife Darlene Davis of Cleveland; seven nieces and nephews, Whitney Beltre and husband Elkyn of Indianapolis, IN, Jessica Ocana of Nashville, TN, Amber Ocana of Nashville, TN, Shannon Keith of Chattanooga, TN, PFC Weston Keith of Brunswick, Germany, Jason Stone of Cleveland, TN, and Justin Stone and wife Christina of Ooltewah, TN; and several other cousins and relatives also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Layman Langford and Elder Jeff Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Community Cemetery. Justin Stone, Jason Stone, Troy Brookshire, Terry Cranfield, Timmy Cranfield, and Coty Cranfield will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
