Janet Caroline Baker Campbell, 79, a resident of Cleveland since 1971, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014, at her home. She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church and The American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Randall and Ruth Ann Cowells Baker; two sisters, Helen McDonald and Madeline Armstrong; two brothers, Edward Randall Baker and Wallace Baker; and one grandson, Joshua Benjamin Wyatt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Clifford “J.C.” Campbell; four children, Patti Price, Marie Elaine Campbell and Jimmy Campbell, Jr. (Audra) all of Cleveland, and Sue Hammond (Mike) of Georgetown, TN; nine grandchildren, Tammi Chamberlain (Bo) of Signal Mountain, TN, Eric Bright (Ashley) of Cartersville, GA, David Bright of Cleveland, TN, Joseph Hampton (Vicky) of Sarasota, FL, Michael Hammond, Jr., (Traci) of Cleveland, TN, Chad Hammond (Dorothy) of Decatur, TN, and Trey and Ryan Campbell of Cleveland, TN: nine great grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Arris Cavender. A private family interment will follow in Ft. Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony. Serving as pallbearers will be David and Eric Bright, Bo Chamberlain, Dennis Belcher, Trey Campbell, Connor Hampton, and Kenneth McAmis.
