Virginia Ruth Bryant Hysinger Holt, 74, a lifelong resident of McDonald, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the family residence surrounded by family. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in McDonald. She was a former seamstress with Hardwick Clothes.

Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Arnold Hysinger and her parents, Clyde Mae Pope and Ary Bryant.

She is survived by her husband, James Buck Holt of McDonald; children and their spouses, Dianne and Walter Lowe of Chatsworth, GA, Allen and Barb Hysinger of Akron, Ohio, Denise Holbert of Sugar Valley, GA, Steve and Kim Hysinger of McDonald, Gary and LaVonda Hysinger of Cleveland, TN, Randy and Judy Hysinger of McDonald; step-children, Teresa Burnstein of Rockmart, GA, Loretta Scott of Rockmart,GA, Keith Holt of Fort Payne, Ala; 12 grandchildren; Brandon and Jessica Hysinger, Tanner Hysinger, Preston Hysinger, Chastity Holcomb, Amy Burgess, Rachel Peirce, Erica Leggett, Karla Forsythe, Scotty Brown, Chuck Holbert, and Olivia Leamon; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Flowers and Judy Culbertson, both of Cleveland; two brothers, Larry Pope and Donnie Pope, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Roark officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery with Scotty Brown, Chuck Holbert, Tanner Hysinger, Chad Holcomb, Andy Burgess and Randy Hysinger.
