Jessie Mae Beard

Jessie Mae Beard, 69, resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014, in a local health care facility. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Flavis Beard; parents, Earl and Delma Mae Whittington; and one son, John L. Shelton.
She is survived by four children: Flavis Richard Beard and wife Kimberly of Medina, Ohio, Martha “Marci” Rogers of Cleveland, John A. Beard and wife Stephanie of Cleveland, and Paul W. Beard of Cleveland; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters: Shirley Burchett of Stanford, Kentucky, Patsy Hacker of Lordstown, Ohio, and Stella Ellison and husband Edward of Mantua, Ohio; two brothers: J. R. Whittington and wife Sherry of Ravenna, Ohio, and Rick Whittington and wife Kathy of Windham, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery with Casey Rogers, Ethan Beard, Eli Beard, Cory Zimmerman, Jesse Elliott and Chris Fennell serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
