Virginia Jo “Louise” Rogers Hysinger, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of A&C Amusement Company.
She loved cooking for family, attending reunions and yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved attending the YMCA Swimming Classes where she also volunteered in the nursery at the YMCA.
Mrs. Hysinger was the daughter of the late John Rogers and Ethel Hair Rogers and was also preceded in death by her three brothers: Johnny Rogers, Dean Rogers and Dirse Rogers; one granddaughter, Misty Rymer Thompson and son-in-law, Jerry Rymer.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Roy Lane Hysinger of Cleveland; four children: John Ingram and wife Dorlene, Kenny Ingram and wife Susan, Kathy Rymer, and Dennis Hysinger and wife Faye, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren: Shane Rymer and Brian Faulkenberry, Dustin Ingram, Tyler Ingram, Cassie Ingram, Heather Davis, all of Cleveland, Laura Ingram of Athens, Olivia Hysinger of Cleveland and Shaun Cavett (Shauna) of Charleston; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Scoggins and Reverend Ray Petty officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Shane Rymer, Kaleb Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Tyler Ingram, Dustin Ingram and Gunar Gray serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
