James Douglas Mosley, Sr., 70, a resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. He was a global mission's director with the United Pentecostal Church and was also involved in the prison ministry in Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Air force. He was a former employee of Teton Machine in Idaho. He was always know for being a jokester and loved fishing and always would lend a hand to help people. Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his wife, Jannie Mosley and his father, Luther Mosley; his daughter, Angela Jacobs and brother, Bill Mosley. He is survived by his children: James Mosley, Jr. and wife, Lorrie Ann of Calhoun, TN, Paul Mosley and wife, Michelle of Minden, NB, Mark Mosley and wife, LeAnn of Mile City, MT, Scott Mosley of Weiser, Idaho, Krista Mosley of Minden, NB, Saliena Sizemore and (Trey) of Calhoun, TN, Rhonda Bandy (Steven) of Charleston, TN, and Norman Jacobs and (Angie) of Athens, TN; mother, Donia Cannon Mosley of Longwood, Florida; brother, Michael Mosley and (Tina) of Longwood, Florida; 18 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the First United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Bill Robison officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service at the church. Interment will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
