Bernard E. Bischof, 73, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospice facility. Bernie was an extremely loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was a spiritual advisor and loved by everyone. He was a master craftsman at all trades and spent many years serving the Catholic Diocese. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard A. and Bernice Ghan Bischof and sister, Sharon Bischof and Carol Hocevar; brother-in-law, Frank Chestney. He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Bischof; children, Bernie and Patrice Bischof, Michael and Laura Bischof, Sheryl Caja, Michele Bischof, Karyn Carlin and Samantha Gilbride; grandchildren, Matt and Bryan Brickman, Zachary Bischof, Sergio Young, Kyle, Cody and Colin Caja, Marissa Kristoff and Kaitlyn Carlin; siblings, LaVerne Bischof, Marilyn Chestney, Larry and Linda Bischof, Ralph and Donna Bischof, John and Nancy Bischof, Elaine and Tony Ferretti, Beverly and Terry Kaczmarski and Mary and Pat MacGillis A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Christopher Parish, 20141 Detroit Road, Rocky River, Ohio 4416. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the services.
