Jeanne Laws

Ramona Jeanne Laws, 66, a resident of Cleveland, TN went home to be with our Lord surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Hospice of Chattanooga. She was a faithful Christian and active member of First Church of the Nazarene who truly treasured her Church family. Jeanne was a devoted wife, adoring mother and nurturing grandmother who cherished her time with her family. Her kind hearted spirit and sparkle in her eyes will be forever in our memories. Mrs. Laws was the daughter of the late Donald Howard Thomsen and Ramona Pearl Papish Thomsen. She was the loving wife of, Charles Laws of Cleveland, TN; beloved mother to, Shirley Jeanne Fink of Fairfax, VA; and Richard Donald Cornwell and wife, Dorene of Osage, IA; Patrick Brown of Fairfax, VA who she loved like a son, Adoring Grandmother to, Heather Francel and husband, Mike of San Diego, CA; Matthew Fink, Aaron Fink, Andrew Fink, Mason Fink, all of Fairfax, VA; Khell Cornwell, Tai James Cornwell, and Raven Cornwell all of Osage, IA; Great-Grandchildren, Daisy Fink, Noah Fink both of Fairfax, VA; Jacob Francel of San Diego, CA, and Maycie Cornwell of Osage, IA; Sister, Carolyn Barton of Magalia, CA; brother, Donald Thomsen and wife, Kathy of Ventura, CA; nephew, Trevor Barton and wife, Heather of Paradise, CA; niece, Monica Maples and husband, Tim of Ventura, CA; several great-nephews and a great niece also survive. The family would like to express a special thank you to Hospice of Chattanooga, MSICU Erlanger, Dr. Joshua Alpers and Shannon Silberman of the ALS Foundation of Chattanooga. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 01, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor B.J. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Matthew Fink, Aaron Fink, Andrew Fink, Mason Fink, Jim Neaton, and Richard Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Fedraw. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
