Gary L. White, 75, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was awarded the Antartica Service Medal.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Harris Lynwood White and Waneta Daisy Searcy Morris.
He is survived by his son, Dion White of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Holly Edmonson and husband, Billy Edmonson, Hunter Swafford, Justin Malamphy, and Chris Tharpe; two great-grandchildren: Madison and Savannah Edmonson; two sisters, Laura Wells of Eastridge and Sherry Howard of Nevada; one special friend, Johnnie Swafford.
There will be a graveside service at Hilcrest Memoiral Gardens on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
