Benita M. Christenbury

Benita M. Christenbury, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Westmore Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Eugene Christenbury; her parents, David and Mabel Farris and brothers, Melvin and George Farris.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Pace and husband, Richard and Steve Christenbury and wife, Piper, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Gregory Pace and wife, Megan of Murfreesboro, Joseph Pace and wife, Danya of Murfreesboro and Jenifer Christenbury Pauls and husband, Brian of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Jolie Pace, Noah Pace, August Pace, Edith Pace, Harper Pace and Jonah Pace; and brothers, Ormand, “Bud” Farris, Donald Farris, Thomas Farris, David Farris and Douglas Farris.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Lee University William G. Squires Library Fund, 1120 N. Ocoee Street Cleveland, TN 37311.
