Louise Shealy

Mildred Louise Bennett Shealy, 92, a resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the family residence. She was a resident of Cleveland for the past 62 years and a former resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Women’s Club and the USO (Jacksonville, Florida); Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She was retired from Millers Department Store where she worked in women’s dress and sportswear sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther William Bennett and Anna Josephine Church Bennett; son, John Michael Shealy; siblings: Luther William Bennett, Jr., Louis Bennett, Kathryn Hickey, and Hubert Bennett.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Herbert Shealy of Cleveland; two children: Herb Shealy, Jr., and Cynthia Shealy Clarke and husband, David; nine grandchildren: Ann Shealy Schatzman and husband, Scott, Leslie Ann Shealy Reed and husband, Lynn, James Corey Shealy and wife, Melanie, Mallory Louise Shealy, Hannah Louise Clarke, Rachel Elizabeth Clarke, Sally Michelle Shealy, Hailey Victoria Shealy, and Natalie Eliza Shealy; seven great-grandchildren: Jacob Alan Schatzman, Samuel Asher Schatzman, Cole Shealy, Emma Shealy, Kaelyn Reed, Mycah Reed, and Autum Reed; three sisters: Grace Elizabeth Bennett Peters, Dorothy Jean Hickey, and Helen Dean Paasche; one brother, Cecil Alvin Bennett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at First Lutheran Church with Reverend Seaton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
