Gustave R. (Gus) Karge

Gustave R. (Gus) Karge, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Gus served in the Pacific as a navy aircraft carrier pilot in WWII and in the Korean War as a flight instructor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean of 71 years; daughter, Barbara Bacon, son, James (Barbara), daughter, Deborah Crosby (James), daughter, Kristine Karge, daughter, Jo Anne Karge; sister, Joan Williams; grandsons, Steven Bacon (Chelsea), Kevin Bacon, Anthony Karge, Mark Karge, and Evan Karge; great-granddaughter, Sophia; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport at a later date.

Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
