Nancy J. Green

Nancy Jo Green, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in a local hospital.  She moved from Cecilia, KY about 18 years ago and is a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.  She enjoyed going on trips to the Sweetwater Flea Market and sitting on the back porch watching the birds.  She loved getting pedicure and never talked bad of anyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie A. Green, Sr.; her parents, Joe Hancock and Gladys Climer Hancock and grandson, Charlie A. Green, III.

She is survived by her five children, Sue Green of Cleveland, Charlie Green, Jr. (Joyce) of Mobile, AL, Pam Urtz (Bob) of Hodgenville, KY, Teresa Hayden (Paul) of Cecilia, KY, Vicki Scott (Craig) of Yreka, CA; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson on the way; siblings, Phyllis Crisp and Donnie Hancock.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard McKeehan officiating.  Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the funeral home.
