Mamie Helen Parker Quinn

Mamie Helen Parker Quinn, 94, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 10. 2016.

 She was preceded in death by husband William Fred Quinn; daughter Freida Jean Quinn McMahan; parents John Preston Parker, Sr. and Zona Moree Parker; brothers John Preston Parker, Jr. and Max Hulen Parker; sisters Gladys Frances Parker Wilkerson and Rosetta Parker Bain; and beloved son-in-law Donald Whaley.

Survivors include one sister Eula Mae Parker Garner; daughters and grandchildren: Betty Lou Whaley (Jeffrey Whaley/Tammy Whaley and Gregory Whaley/Priscilla Whaley) all of Cleveland, TN; Mary Frances Hammond/ Wade Hammond of Georgetown, TN, (Sheila, Theresa, Dianne, and Karen); Margaret Ann Stone/ Howard Stone, Hendersonville, TN, (René Cook/John Cook, Franklin, TN and (Ron Stone/Ashlea Stone) Gallatin, TN; Ella Sue Daniel/Ralph Daniel, Cleveland, GA, (Leah Mengwasser /Chris Mengwasser) Bradenton, FL; (Amy Daniel) Bradenton, FL; and (Natalie Daniel) Clinton, TN); Phyliss Ellen Williams /Ed Williams, Cleveland, TN; (Laura Holzworth/Doug Holzworth) Salt Lake City, UT; and (Daryl Colloms/ Christie Colloms) Athens, TN; granddaughter, Sandy Ledbetter of Crossville, TN.

Mamaw Quinn has numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also has several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Quinn was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church.

The family is grateful to the staff and caregivers at Signature Health Care for providing love and care for her health during the last six years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Brooks officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 P.M. prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Daryl Colloms, Ethan Colloms, Ronald Stone, Howard Stone, John Cook, and Natalie Daniel serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey Whaley, Jason Whaley, and Gregory Whaley, Ed Williams, Wade Hammond and Ralph Daniel.
