Gary W. Long, age 62, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at the family residence. He was employed by Publix of Cleveland, Tennessee and previously worked as a photographer at Cleveland Daily Banner. He was passionate about photography. He loved animals particularly his dog Kiwi. He also loved watching sports/football. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Long was the son of the late Brice Long and Betty Sandusky Long.
He is survived by his children, Hannah Long and Levi Long both of Cleveland and Cory McRae of Arlington, TN; two sisters, Debby Carter and husband Gary of Lafayette, TN and Phyllis Lackey and husband Jim of Franklin, TN.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
