Caroline Polak Wilson, 57, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Vanderbilt Hospital. She was a resident of Cleveland for over 31 years, moving from Las Vegas, NV. She was born in Schiedam, Netherlands.
She was an accountant with Wilson Tax and she was scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens. She loved classical music and had played the piano all of her life. She received an Associate Degree in Music from Cleveland State Community College.
She loved her family with all her heart and especially her three granddaughters. She enjoyed traveling and antiques, and her cat, Max.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Polak.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Wilson of Cleveland; mother, Doris Rebers of Driebergen, Netherlands; two sons, Benjamin Wilson and Joshua Wilson both of Cleveland; three granddaughters, Haley Wilson, Jessica Wilson, and Lily Wilson all of Cleveland; two brothers, Arnold Polak and Mathieu Polak both of the Netherlands; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Judy Herron of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 Friday, July 1, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the funeral home.
