Donald Lee Harvey

Donald Lee Harvey passed away Sunday, July, 17, 2016 at the family residence. Don was born in Cleveland, TN March 23, 1929 to Charlie and Kate Harvey. He was a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. He enjoyed working security at several businesses and always loved his photography skills.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hargrove Harvey, three daughters- Susan Culbreth and husband, Jeff of Douglasville, GA, Donna Simpson and husband, Kevin of Huntsville, AL, and Patti Watts and husband, Randy of Stockbridge, GA. Nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Sara, Stacy, Erin, Brent, Kellye, Kevin, Kristen and Austin. One stepdaughter, Kaye Talman and husband, Charles. One step grandson, Cody. Also three great-grandchildren, Sam, Rae, and Elijah.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Tom Wickes officiating. Emtombment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff Culbreth, Kevin Simpson, Austin Simpson, Shane Bucher, and Barry Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be David Watts and C.L. Hall. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN or First Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 2368, Cleveland, TN 37320.
