Jean Pruett Campbell, beloved mother of Adonis and Keith, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was a faithful member of Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy where she participated in numerous ministries and mission trips. She loved people and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Club as well as being a special events coordinator and planner for numerous occasions throughout her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Bradley Central High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost sixty years, Howard “H. B.” Campbell.
She is survived by two sons; Adonis Campbell and wife Gail of Short Pump, Virginia, and Keith Campbell and wife Curtis of Lakesite, Tennessee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as special nephews and nieces. She was dearly loved and cared for by her extended family Mike and Patsy Plumley.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday July 24, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. They will also receive friends and family on Monday July 25, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy preceding the funeral service.
Funeral Services will be conducted at The Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy by the Reverend Robert Daugherty and Reverend Adam Jones on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 12:07 P.M. followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy Children's Wing Building Fund.
